Group Policy The Western Hotel prefers not to accommodate groups of 8 or more people Should the group be excepted, a security deposit in the form of cash or credit card pre-authorisation for EUR 35 per head, but no less than EUR 350 is required on check-in Furthermore it is required a signed statement that all damages exceeding this amount will be covered by the primary booker This deposit is refunded on departure if no damage has occurred Please note that for bookings of 4 rooms or more, the payment options and cancellation policies are different The required deposit is 50% at the time of booking and a further 50% deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to arrival The property will contact guests shortly after booking to confirm the procedure, along with details regarding the security deposit required upon arrival The Western Hotel offers free underground Valet Car Park for all guests Guests checking into CityPoint Apartments are also asked to arrive for their check-in to The Western Hotel They will be given further instructions at reception Directions to Hotels short term underground parking: Arriving from any direction, follow the signs to the City Centre and Eyre Square Once on Eyre Square, take the road exiting the square at the top right-hand corner at Richardsons Pub Proceed onwards on the left lane Pass TK Maxx, Galway City Council building and The Western Hotel and take the first turn left, then left again into St Bridgets Place The underground car park is on the left, down the ramp A security deposit of EUR 250 is required upon arrival for incidentals This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation
