SYHA is a charity aiming to inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons, gain knowledge and independence through new experiences of adventure and discovery In support of this aim, all bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night -Full, existing members of SYHA and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund- From the age of 5 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may be accommodated in a single-gender shared room with the parent or guardian and other guests, at the discretion and responsibility of the parent or guardian The young personpeople, the parentguardian and the other occupants of the room must be of the same gender SYHA advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation Refunds: should you be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by SYHA National Office, Stirling It will take 7 to 10 working days from the date of us receiving your request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used Parties with young children -under 5 years- will only be accommodated in designated family rooms, where available There is no capacity for extra beds or cots in a shared dormitory or private accommodation When booking for more than 9 persons, different policies and additional supplements will apply When booking for more than 9 persons, 100 percent of the total amount may be charged any time after booking Please note the following cancellation charges will apply to your full booking: - More than 8 weeks -57 days or more- 20% of total cost - 8 – 4 weeks -56- 29 days- 55% of total cost - 4 – 0 weeks -28 - 0 day- 100% of total cost No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel Depending on location check-in is either 1500 or 1700 Please check these times as stated on your reservation -or on Bookingcom- before arrival Late arrivals are by arrangement only For the comfort and security of all, the front door is locked at midnight daily and there is no admission after this time The hostel is closed between 1030 and 1630, however a lounge is usually available until midday for those guests staying another night SYHA does not accept American Express cards as payment or guarantee Please inform Ullapool SYHA Hostelling Scotland in advance of your expected arrival time You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation Please note that the full amount of the reservation is due before arrival SYHA will send a confirmation with detailed payment information After full payment is taken, the propertys details, including the address and where to collect keys, will be emailed to you
