Set in the idyllic North York Moors, The Grainary offers 4-star accommodation with beautiful countryside views The farm is set in 200 acres of open countryside in Harwood Dale, and has its own wildlife and numerous scenic walking routes Each of the 14 colourful, modern rooms in The Grainary include en suite bathrooms, as well as a Freeview TV and a welcome tray with tea, coffee, and biscuits The country tearooms and restaurant serve a variety of home-baked, cakes and scones, along with a number of home-made hearty, locally sourced dishes with views of Scarborough Castle There is also a garden centre selling flowers, seeds, and plants, and a games room and outdoor playground area for children Free parking is available at The Grainary, and the seaside town of Scarborough is 15 minutes drive away Historic Whitby can be reached in 20 minutes by car Harwood Dale Forest which is 4 miles from The Grainary is popular for watching wildlife including birds, roe deer, badgers, foxes and dragonflies
