Guests need to arrange their own transportation to Tioman Island, exiting the ferry at Paya Jetty Guests are advised to inform the resort of their scheduled ferry time This can be done under Special Requests during booking The resort provides a scheduled shuttle service between Paya Jetty and the resort on arrival and departure As part of the resorts conservation mission, they run a strictly scheduled shuttle service -up to 3 times a day- from Paya Jetty to Melina Beach Guests should contact the resort 48 hours prior to arrival to ask for shuttle times This can be done under Special Requests when booking If guests wish to arrive at a different time than the scheduled shuttle, there is a surcharge A tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply Please inform Melina Beach Resort in advance of your expected arrival time You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation
