Formerly a Royal Navy Admirals home, this Edwardian building boasts spectacular views over Portland harbour and Lyme Bay YHA Portland also provides a communal kitchen, a TV lounge and free parking The majority of rooms at this YHA hostel contain bunk beds, and all rooms share bathroom facilities Guests can use the shared laundry, and there is a dining room and barbecue area to enjoy meals together Portland is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast Chesil Beach is 5 minutes walk away, whilst Weymouths award-winning beach is 5 miles away There are restaurants within a few hundred metres Within a few minutes walk guests can take part in sailing, climbing, diving, wind surfing and other water sports
