Please be informed that there are no supermarkets, convenience stores, ATM machines, hospitals or drug stores within the property vicinity It is strongly advised that guests refuel their vehicles and do all their shopping at the Gero and Takayama areas, or at the central area of Kiso-Fukushima before reaching the property The property is situated in Gero City, but is 60 km away from city centre and will take around 100 minutes by car Cellphones can be used within the property premises, but there are locations along the mountain path which have no signal Please contact the property well in advance before entering such areas Due to the high altitude of the area, snow accumulates on the roads from the start of November towards the end of May every season Please make sure to either equip studless tires or snow chains to your vehicle when accessing the property by car Chuo expressway route 435, the road which connects Ciao Ontake Snow Resort and Nigori Onsen, will be closed between 17:00 - 08:00 daily during the winter season Please inform Ryokan Ontake in advance of your expected arrival time You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the propertys public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests Guests must check in by 19:30 to eat dinner at this property Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given
