This family-run establishment in Snowdonia is nestled in the small market town of Llanrwst in the heart of the Conwy valley The Meadowsweet Hotel is less than 5 miles from Betws y Coed Rail Station and offers Wi-Fi and free parking Meadowsweets spacious bedrooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a TV, a DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities They are elegant in design and some rooms feature either a four poster or a half tester bed Guests can enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast served in the on-site, Lle Hari Restaurant A varied menu is available for lunch and evening meals also and it includes delights such as Traditional St Davids chicken and 10oz local Welsh matured sirloin steak The most easterly edge of the Snowdonia National Park and the Gwydyr Forest are just a mile and a half from the hotel The River Conwy is less than a 5-minute walk away and offers the opportunity for Salmon or Trout fishing There are many traditional pubs a short stroll from the hotel
