This Victorian dower house is perched on a slope with breath-taking views overlooking the 50-acre private lake, and is secluded by woodland and exquisite gardens These superior lodges are mainly located in the Annexe section of the lake lodge and accessed privately from the side or back of the building All have king-size beds, apart from one suite with a double bed, and all are en suite Most have a freestanding bath tub and separate walk-in shower, while others have either a shower or bath tub The spacious bathrooms have sliding screens, influenced by Japanese design and decor Rooms have a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra cotsbeds are available on request in some rooms Dogs can be accommodated in ground-floor rooms Most rooms can accommodate an additional single bed, or fold-away bed, upon request The estates country house and the Garden Mews are just a 10-15 minute walk through the gardens, or a short drive by the lake To get to them, guests can take a leisurely stroll along the pathways that lead through the gardens and past streams and waterfalls
