Family-run for 4 generations, Krauterhotel Edelweiss is located at 1,550 metres above sea level on the car-free Rigi Mountain, next to Rigi Staffelhohe Train Station It offers panoramic views over the Swiss Alps and Lake Lucerne, free WiFi, 2 restaurants, and a spa area Spa facilities at Hotel Edelweiss Rigi include a sauna, steam bath, and a Kneipp pool Colour and light therapies are available at an additional cost The Panorama Restaurant has a sun terrace with mountain views and offers traditional Swiss cuisine and regional specialities, all made from Swiss products In the Regina Montium restaurant, which was newly opened in December 2016, guests can enjoy gourmet cuisine based on traditional recipes, exclusively made from Swiss products The traditionally furnished rooms provide a balcony, a desk, and a bathroom with a hairdryer In winter, snow shoes and sledges can be rented on site, and a ski slope is right outside the hotel The Rigi Kaltbad Spa Centre can be reached in a 15-minute walk

Please note that the hotel is located on a car-free mountain and can only be reached by public transport The Staffelhohe Train Station of the Rigi Railway, which starts at Vitznau, is right next to the hotel It can also be reached by cable car from Weggis -with a change at Rigi Kaltbad-, followed by a 15-minute walk Parking is available at the valley stations of the railway line and the cable car Please note that the restaurants are closed on Mondays Half board, snacks or fondue are available upon request
