Barking Owl Retreat features two fully self-contained cottages located in a secluded valley on the Atherton Tablelands Both cottages have a private deck with BBQ facilities and views of the countryside Each of these open-plan cottages offers private luxury accommodation with plush sofas, Therapedic queen beds, a double sofa bed, a large bathroom with double spa bath, and a fully self-contained kitchen They also offer an LCD TV and DVD player Upon arrival, guests receive free chocolates and 70 grams of Coffeeworks coffee as well as Continental Breakfast Hampers included in your Tariff Local wineries and coffee plantations are located within a short drive The dam hut has an open fireplace for toasting marshmallows and nuts or just keeping warm in winter The dam also has a jetty for catch and release fishing If youre lucky you might even spot a wallaby on the property Barking Owl Retreat is a 10-minute drive each from Atherton town centre and Lake Tinaroo Dam It is only 15 minutes from Yungaburra and just over one hours drive from Cairns International Airport
