The Atellet Hotell re-opened in April 2009 It is located at the mouth of the Norrtalje River, with the archipelago and sea at walking distance Stockholm city centre is at a convenient distance by bus The hotel is built in 19th century style, with top modern facilities The idea was to recreate the character of Norrtalje and the atmosphere of that time Atellet offers restaurant, cafe and bar services, a sauna, lounges and conference facilities The guest rooms have an atmosphere inspired by the archipelago Most rooms have balconies or French balconies and offer wonderful views of the Norrtalje Bay The interiors are inspired by timeless Nordic style with emphasis on comfort and convenience The furniture has been custom made for Atellet by a small carpentry in Smaland
